National Conservation and Leadership Summit

The 2007 National Conservation and Leadership Summit (NCLS) will take place July 28 through August 1, 2007 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. The summit theme is 'Building the Path to Servant Leadership'

This summit has a twofold purpose. The first will be to train key site leadership and squad leaders for the 2008 ArrowCorps5. The second purpose of the NCLS is to introduce to key leaders of lodges and sections the 2008-2012 Order of the Arrow Strategic Plan. It will be the first summit-type event held since the National Leadership Summit of 1999.

The NCLS is designed for the key leaders of lodges, sections and regions. Therefore council contingents may send up to five Arrowmen to the NCLS. Out of these five, two must be youth Arrowmen. (The National OA Committee encourages that every lodge's key three attend the summit.)

The online summit registration site is available here. The summit fee is $295.00 for conservation and leadership participants who pay their total Summit fee by May 31, 2007 (postmark date). Fees paid after May 31, 2007 will be $350.00. All late fees must be received by the OA director no later than June 30, 2007. The fee includes four nights air conditioned housing, 11 meals, program materials and registration materials, and recognition items during the five-day summit.
